Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for someone to join our Strategy and M&A team at Nurix - owning the full deal acquisition lifecycle including outreach, diligence, execution and integration, while also leading high-impact strategic projects for the company. This will involve working closely with the Founder & leadership team, external partners, legal, and finance. This is a strong fit for someone who can independently form a financial, business, and commercial POV and own ambiguous, high-stakes work end-to-end.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate prospective target companies in the technology sector
- Lead evaluation across commercial, operational, and strategic dimensions, and independently form a point-of-view; build financial models and valuation frameworks to enable decision making
- Partner with investment bankers, legal counsels and tax advisors for identifying potential companies, structuring deals and contracts
- Drive acquisitions through to close, coordinating all internal and external stakeholders
- Own or co-own post-acquisition integration and partner with companies to help unlock synergies
- Partner with leadership on other high-impact strategic initiatives including GTM, partnerships, market/competitive research, product etc.
What we are looking for
- Strong M&A experience e.g., identification, diligence, execution
- MBA from a Tier-1 institution and/or experience at a top-tier consulting firm, M&A team in a corporate or large startup
- Ability to independently develop and articulate a point of view from a financial, business, and commercial perspective
- Proven ability to build and manage relationships with external partners and target-company stakeholders, and comfort working closely with legal and finance
- High ownership and bias for action, with comfort operating in ambiguity, strong communication skills
- Comfort using AI for solving problems / building (you need not be an engineer)
We might not be the right match, if:
- You thrive only in structured and predictable environments
- You prefer advising rather than owning things end-to-end
- You haven't adopted AI ways of working
Why Join Us?
- Opportunity to work in the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem
- Work directly with founder and leadership team on company-defining initiatives
- Competitive salary and benefits
- A company culture that values diversity, innovation, and work-life balance
