QA Engineer

Job Summary:

As a QA Engineer, you will ensure every release is correct, fast and trusted by executives, from screen behaviour down to the numbers. You will be responsible for validating both application functionality and data accuracy across UI, API and analytics layers, ensuring high-quality deliverables for global users. Candidate must have relevant experience of 6+ Years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Join requirement workshops with client stakeholders and turn requirements into clear acceptance criteria and detailed test cases.
• Plan and run functional, regression and user acceptance testing for each release, ensuring coverage of critical business flows.
• Build and maintain UI and API test automation frameworks, integrated into CI/CD pipelines for fast and reliable releases.
• Validate data end to end by reconciling dashboard metrics against Snowflake source data using SQL, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Run performance and load tests to validate behaviour for concurrent global users and identify bottlenecks.
• Report test results, defects and release readiness in weekly status meetings with senior stakeholders, providing clear risk assessments and recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with developers, data engineers and product owners to prevent defects early and improve overall quality practices.
• Apply quality engineering practices for data testing, including using Deequ or similar frameworks to automate data quality checks where applicable.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 6+ years in QA, including at least 3+ years of test automation experience.
• Hands-on UI automation experience with Playwright, Cypress or Selenium, using TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Strong experience in API testing, including GraphQL, using tools such as Postman or similar.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation; Snowflake experience preferred for analytics and BI testing.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6 or similar to validate scalability and responsiveness.
• Proven experience testing analytics or BI dashboards, including data accuracy and visualisation behaviour.
• Excellent spoken and written English; confident presenting status, risks and defects to senior stakeholders.
• Experience in Quality Engineering for data testing, including familiarity with Deequ or comparable data quality frameworks.
• Exposure to Data Automation & AI concepts and their application in testing and quality engineering.
• Nice to have: Testing experience in pharma, consumer health or CPG analytics domains.
• Nice to have: Experience with test management tools, for example Jira with Xray or Zephyr, for test case management and traceability.
