About the role
Your core RESPONSIBILITIES will include:
- Provide administrative support to the People Experience team, including scheduling meetings, and preparing relevant documentation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and personnel records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and audits
- Support compliance activities, including document tracking, and certifications
- Respond to basic working here inquiries related to people and culture policies and inquiries. Escalating more complex questions as appropriate.
- Coordinate logistics for People Experience initiatives, training sessions, and monthly reporting for People Experience Specialists follow-up with respective markets.
- Support employees and People experience team specialists in addressing employee relations matters, including performance concerns, conduct issues, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
- Support people experience team through partnership with benefits regarding maintenance of leaves and coordination of the return to work process
- Assist with the intake, documentation, and coordination of employee relations cases, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate documentation
- Support workplace investigations by gathering information, preparing documentation, coordinating interviews, and maintaining files.
- Support employee engagement and compliance initiatives, occasional site visits, audits, and training coordination.
- Administer, maintain, and continuously support the North America Tenure Program, ensuring accurate tracking, timely recognition, data integrity, and consistent application of program guidelines across Canada and the United States.
Qualifications
Required:
- 1+ years of experience in Human Resources, with exposure to employee relations, investigations, or people compliance.
- Fluency in both English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters professionally and discreetly.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound judgment, attention to detail, and a high degree of confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace tools.
Preferred:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; CHRP/working toward designation is an asset.
