About the role

Requirements

Required Skills

  • 4–8 years of experience in Functional Testing.
  • Strong experience in Banking Domain (Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Payments, Lending, Cards, or Wealth Management).
  • Hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman, SOAP UI, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL for database validation and data analysis.
  • Experience in preparing test plans, test cases, test execution, and defect tracking.
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or Quality Center.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to automation testing tools/frameworks is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Banking regulations, payment systems, and financial transactions.
  • Experience in UAT support and stakeholder management.
