What you'll own

Backlink campaign planning

• Build a quarterly link plan mapped to specific target pages and keyword clusters, rather than a fixed monthly link count. Plan anchor text and target-page distribution deliberately, and maintain a natural link velocity.
• Run link-gap analysis against defined competitors in each market using Ahrefs or Semrush, and prioritise prospects by how realistically they can be won. Segment them into tiers, each with its own approach: editorial and media, HR communities and associations, partner and integration pages, SaaS directories and roundups, guest contributions, and resource pages.
• Commission linkable assets with the content team, including survey data, calculators, statistics pages and templates, and then promote them. Maintain a single prospect database recording owner, status, last contact and outcome.
• Prospect and verify contacts, and write outreach that is short, specific and built around a single clear request.
• Manage replies through to completion, including negotiation and decisions on paid placements, and follow up until the link is live. Track reply rate, positive reply rate and link-live rate by template, and discontinue approaches that do not perform.
• Establish Keka's presence in the sources AI systems draw from: “best HR software” and “best payroll software” roundups, comparison articles, and review platforms including G2, Capterra, GetApp, Software Advice, TrustRadius and SoftwareSuggest.
• Participate genuinely in the community surfaces that appear in AI answers, including relevant subreddits, Quora, LinkedIn and HR forums.
• Maintain consistent brand entity information wherever Keka is described, and correct outdated third-party facts such as old pricing, discontinued features and comparisons with retired products.
• Run a fixed prompt set across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google AI Mode, recording which brands are named and which sources are cited, and target those sources. Report on-site gaps, such as schema, content structure and llms.txt, to the SEO lead.
• Improve LLM citation performance through backlinks, analysing which platforms, directories, review sites, communities and other sources need to be reached out to in order to increase Keka’s visibility and citations across AI systems.
• Manage directory listings and review site listings, ensuring Keka is consistently represented across relevant directories, software listing platforms and review sites, and identify new platforms where a listing or backlink can strengthen search and LLM visibility.
• Audit links gained, links lost and spam exposure each month, and disavow only where clearly warranted. Reclaim links pointing to 404 pages or redirect chains, and raise the underlying fix with the SEO lead.
• Maintain a live reporting dashboard covering referring domains gained, weighted by the linking domain's organic traffic, links per target page, ranking movement on target pages, and AI citation share of voice.

What you need to have

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B SaaS or HR technology.
• Outreach experience with US, UK or GCC audiences.
• Experience with an outreach platform such as Pitchbox, BuzzStream, Instantly or Smartlead.
