THE OPPORTUNITY

CONTEXT:

Our RUN QA department, international in scope (EMEA, AMER, APAC) and in full growth, is made up of around twenty experts in charge of testing assurance by monitoring all ongoing projects working with project managers to ensure test plans, test scripts and other testing-related documents are agreed to ensure that processes deliver the benefits planned by the business. Our team is very hands-on with a strong mindset of problem solving while also having the ability to think of the implementation holistically and provide solutions that solve the customer’s long-term challenges.

ROLE:

Here at Ivalua, we are currently looking for a QA Automation For the Run team. You will be reporting to the QA Manager. You will be responsible for managing the business process and acceptance testing of projects to ensure that new and upgraded systems are shown to be fit for purpose and meet defined business expectations and quality standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US

• Develop a strong understanding of the business functionality of our solution through existing NRT scenarios.
• Design and execute test automation activities, including test planning, test case analysis, test environment setup, script development, script enhancement, test execution, monitoring, result analysis, and defect reporting.
• Develop automated test scripts for client-provided scenarios using Playwright or other automation tools as determined by Ivalua, with ownership of test planning and execution.
• Manual and regression testing efforts will have to be taken up from time to time if required.
• Provide ongoing support for test automation, monitor and analyze test execution results, investigate failures, and raise R&D requests through the Extranet when required.
• Provide regular updates to the manager on planning, status, staffing, progress, and daily/weekly activities.
• Drive continuous improvements (Technical adaptation, performance, robustness, new ideas for scenarios, etc...)

YOUR PROFILE

If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you:

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software automation testing, knowledge in all phases of software testing, ideally in a windows environment..
• Experience using various automation testing tools for test execution and analysis
• Test Automation tool experience such as Playwright would be a big plus
• Strong proficiency in at least one of: TypeScript, JavaScript
• Solid understanding of debugging techniques for flaky or unreliable tests
• Experience leading code reviews and mentoring junior QA engineers on automation best practices
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of or practical experience in building AI agents and working with Claude.

Soft Skills :

• BE/BTech or Masters degree in Computer Engineering, Computer science, or a closely related field or foreign equivalent. Procurement domain will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of SRM, Supply Chain, Procurement is a big plus.
• Exceptional work and personal ethics.
