Salesforce Technical Architect

The Salesforce Technical Architect – Marketing Cloud is responsible for designing, governing, and delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions while ensuring seamless integration across enterprise applications, middleware platforms, and cloud ecosystems. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in enterprise integration testing, API validation, middleware orchestration, data transformation, and cloud-based architectures. This role requires close collaboration with architects, business stakeholders, integration teams, and quality engineering teams to ensure robust and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture and technical governance for Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations and integrations.
• Define enterprise integration testing strategies across multiple platforms and applications.
• Validate integrations across TIBCO, Azure Integration Services, GCP/Apigee, Oracle Fusion Middleware, and other enterprise middleware systems.
• Design and oversee API testing frameworks covering REST and SOAP services, including authentication, request/response validation, and error handling.
• Ensure database validation, data reconciliation, ETL verification, and end-to-end data integrity.
• Validate batch processing, file-based integrations, and SFTP-based data exchanges.
• Oversee transformation testing involving XML, JSON, XSLT, and complex data mapping rules.
• Review and validate middleware message flows, routing logic, orchestration processes, and queue management.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to implement automation solutions using REST Assured, Postman, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization activities.
• Validate enterprise job scheduling and workflow orchestration processes, including dependency chains, retries, monitoring, and failure handling.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and best practices to development, testing, and integration teams.

Minimum Requirements:

• 9 to 14 years of overall IT experience.
• Extensive experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture and enterprise integrations.
• Strong experience in Enterprise Integration Testing.
• Hands-on experience testing integrations across TIBCO, Azure Integration Services, GCP/Apigee, and Oracle Fusion Middleware.
• Expertise in REST and SOAP API Testing.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in database validation, ETL validation, and data reconciliation.
• Experience in batch feed testing involving CSV, XML, and JSON-based integrations.
• Strong knowledge of XML ↔ JSON transformations, XSLT, and data mapping validations.
• Experience validating middleware orchestration, routing mechanisms, and enterprise message queues.
• Hands-on experience with REST Assured, Postman, and CI/CD-based automation testing.
• Experience working within distributed cloud-based architectures.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience testing enterprise schedulers such as Control-M, Autosys, Cron, Azure Data Factory Pipelines, and TIBCO schedulers.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent discipline.
