About the role
Essential Functions:
- Exceptionally partners with Hiring Managers/Business leaders and HR colleagues, helping to meet overall business and talent goals
- Educates on and effectively influences hiring managers and other key stakeholders to follow talent acquisition policies and practices, helping to ensure consistently engaging candidate experiences
- Consistently sets expectations and regularly communicates with all stakeholders (ex. hiring managers, business leaders, internal and external candidates, HR colleagues, vendors, etc.)
- Identifies, attracts, and assesses front-line production and skilled trades talent for IEM’s manufacturing facilities in San Antonio
- Maintains excellent service levels to multiple hiring managers and candidates – ensures a positive hiring manager and candidate experience throughout the recruiting process
- Collaborates with business leaders and HR colleagues on new hire onboarding, employee experience, and retention
- Is always on the lookout for opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation, not content with just maintaining the status quo
- Ensures compliance with applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations

Education and Experience:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years of similar talent acquisition experience in a manufacturing plant and/or in the construction industry
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with, partner with and effectively influence all stakeholders throughout the end-to-end talent acquisition process
- General knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations
- Flexible and adaptable team player who thrives in a collaborative, often changing environment - you will be in start-up mode and must be willing to help wherever needed - "not my job" is an unacceptable response
- Excellent written & verbal communication, multi-tasking, organizational, follow-up and negotiating skills, with a strong attention to detail

Desired
- Experience with Greenhouse and/or comparable ATS/CRM systems
- Intimate knowledge of the San Antonio labor market as it relates to manufacturing and construction
- Bilingual - English / Spanish
