Renewable Energy Engineer

Position Summary :

ICF seeks a Renewable Energy Engineer to support implementation monitoring and programme management activities for PM Surya Ghar, PM-KUSUM, and state renewable energy initiatives in Maharashtra.

Job Description:

• Support programme monitoring and implementation tracking.
• Coordinate with MEDA, MSEDCL, vendors, and district stakeholders.
• Track approvals, inspections, and commissioning milestones.
• Maintain project and beneficiary databases.
• Support dashboard preparation and performance analytics.
• Conduct field verification and monitoring activities.
• Assist in vendor performance reviews.
• Support management reporting and review meetings.
• Facilitate stakeholder consultations and training programmes.
• Assist in impact assessments and programme evaluations.

Minimum qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in renewable energy sector; Experience in at least one renewable energy project

Working Relationships :

• Work closely with client, internal PMU colleagues and relevant state, utility, financial, vendor or technology stakeholders.
• Maintain role-specific work plans, action trackers, deliverable calendars and supporting records.
• Produce clear, accurate and decision-ready outputs within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Handle programme, beneficiary, financial, portal and stakeholder information confidentially and follow approved access and information-security requirements.
• Undertake field travel and support urgent programme reviews when required by the assignment.
