Renewable Energy Engineer

Position Summary :

ICF seeks a Renewable Energy Engineer to support implementation, monitoring, and reporting of renewable energy programmes in Bihar, including PM Surya Ghar and PM-KUSUM initiatives.

Job Description:

• Monitor progress of renewable energy programme implementation.
• Coordinate with BREDA, NBPDCL, SBPDCL, and implementing agencies.
• Support project tracking, inspections, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain programme MIS and reporting systems.
• Assist in dashboard development and analytics.
• Conduct field visits and implementation reviews.
• Support vendor monitoring and stakeholder engagement.
• Prepare technical reports and programme updates.
• Participate in training and awareness programs.
• Support impact assessment and evaluation activities.

Minimum qualifications and experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; Master's Degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in renewable energy sector; Experience in at least one renewable energy project

Working Relationships :

• Work closely with client, internal PMU colleagues and relevant state, utility, financial, vendor or technology stakeholders.
• Maintain role-specific work plans, action trackers, deliverable calendars and supporting records.
• Produce clear, accurate and decision-ready outputs within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Handle programme, beneficiary, financial, portal and stakeholder information confidentially and follow approved access and information-security requirements.
• Undertake field travel and support urgent programme reviews when required by the assignment.
