1st shift Production Supervisor (Pack D)

Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of battery products. This role supervises production employees, drives operational performance, maintains quality standards, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop production employees to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Monitor daily production activities to ensure schedules and targets are met.
• Promote compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
• Address production issues and coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams to minimize downtime.
• Track and communicate key performance metrics, including safety, quality, output, and attendance.
• Conduct employee training, coaching, performance management, and corrective actions as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing principles.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with production metrics, workforce management, and continuous improvement.
• Battery, automotive, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and root cause problem-solving.
• Experience in lithium-ion battery manufacturing or highly automated production environments.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and production reporting tools.

Expected Pay Range:

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range. This provides you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and advance your career at Gotion. The base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.

$65,000 - $80,000 USD
