Specialist - F&A - R2R 4A

Responsibilities:

• Investment transaction processing: Manage the processing of investment transactions, including purchases, sales, cash management, valuation, accruals and income recognition for Equity, Bond and Derivatives products. Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Portfolio reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliations of investment portfolios to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded. Identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly to maintain financial integrity.

• Process improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the investment accounting function. Enhance efficiency and accuracy through innovative solutions.

• Stakeholder communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners, such as asset managers and auditors, to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues related to investment transactions.

Minimum Qualifications:

CA / CPA / MBA Finance / M-Com / B-Com or Graduate in Finance Relevant years of experience in managing F&A Insurance Investment process

Preferred Skill Set:

Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)Experience with accounting software, like Oracle, Blackline, etc. Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail Self-starter, with ability to work under own initiative Strong time management skills Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
