Azure Solution Architect

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Azure Solution Architect to design, architect, and deliver scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud services, microservices architecture, DevOps, and modern application development, with the ability to lead technical discussions and drive enterprise-scale cloud transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Architect scalable, secure, highly available, and cost-optimized Azure environments.
• Gather business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable cloud architectures.
• Develop secure, highly available, resilient, and cost-optimized Azure solutions.
• Design networking solutions including Virtual Networks (VNets), VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers, and Application Gateway.
• Architect identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Design Azure compute, storage, database, and integration services.
• Implement governance, security, compliance, and monitoring using Azure-native services.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Azure.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates).
• Provide technical leadership, architecture reviews, and best practice guidance.
• Perform architecture assessments and recommend improvements for performance, security, and cost optimization.
• Create architecture documentation, solution diagrams, and technical design documents.

• Architected and developed microservices-based applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Led technical solution design, architecture reviews, and established best practices for application development.
• Designed and managed cloud infrastructure and deployments on Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Implemented and maintained CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and ArgoCD, enabling automated and reliable deployments.
• Integrated secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak.
• Developed observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Log Analytics for monitoring, logging, and performance analysis.
• Designed and managed data storage solutions using MongoDB Atlas and Azure Blob Storage.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provided technical leadership, mentored development teams, and drove adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Ensured application security, performance, and reliability through architectural governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participated in Agile ceremonies, technical planning, and stakeholder discussions to align technology solutions with business objectives.
