SAP FICO Consultant

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day functional and business process support for SAP FI modules, related business processes, and system interfaces.
• Configure, maintain, and support SAP FI modules to meet business requirements.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve SAP FI production issues and configuration defects.
• Participate in SAP Enhancement Pack (EHP) upgrades, enhancements, and implementation projects.
• Support Finance and Accounting functions in both SAP and non-SAP initiatives.
• Develop, execute, and validate unit, integration, and user acceptance test (UAT) scripts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement production changes and system enhancements.
• Research SAP Service Marketplace, create OSS messages, evaluate, test, and implement SAP OSS Notes.
• Support integration between SAP FI and other SAP modules such as CO, FM, PS, and Treasury.
• Maintain SAP configuration documents, business process documentation, and technical specifications.
• Manage and update ServiceNow incidents, requests, changes, problems, and project records.
• Maintain HP Quality Center test scripts and uPerform business process documentation.
• Provide regular project status updates and operational reports to stakeholders.
• Deliver end-user training, demonstrations, and functional support for SAP Finance processes.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements based on SAP best practices.
• Participate in or lead SAP project teams, gather business requirements, and recommend functional solutions.
• Perform knowledge transfer and ensure complete documentation before project or engagement closure.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP FI Functional Consultant.
• Strong experience with SAP Financial Accounting (FI).
• Expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA/Fixed Assets).
• Experience with SAP Controlling (CO), Funds Management (FM), Project Systems (PS), and Banking processes.
• Experience in SAP configuration, production support, incident management, and issue resolution.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Enhancement Pack upgrades and system enhancements.
• Experience with SAP testing, UAT, and Quality Assurance processes.
• Knowledge of SAP Service Marketplace, OSS Notes, and SAP support processes.
• Strong understanding of SAP Finance business processes and cross-module integrations.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile or enterprise SAP project environments.
