Job Description

Business Operations at Exa

You will support our GTM team on all things surrounding sales and growth initiatives. This can look like content writing for marketing, optimizing our sales and customer success processes, analyzing performance across the business, supporting vendor relationships, and creating materials to win enterprise customers.

What you'll do

  • Optimize sales and customer success processes - Streamline workflows, improve conversion rates, reduce friction in the customer journey, and enhance team productivity
  • Analyze performance across the business - Build dashboards, track KPIs, identify growth opportunities, and provide actionable insights to leadership
  • Support vendor relationships - Manage partnerships, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with external vendors to support GTM initiatives
  • Create materials to win enterprise customers - Develop RFP responses, security questionnaires, executive presentations, and custom proposals for large deals
  • Own revenue operations - Maintain our sales funnel, improve forecast accuracy, and optimize our CRM and sales stack
  • Drive growth experiments - Design and execute A/B tests, pilot new channels, and iterate on our go-to-market strategy
  • Enable sales team success - Create training materials, competitive intelligence, and tools that help reps close more deals
  • Coordinate cross-functional GTM projects - Lead initiatives spanning sales, marketing, customer success, and product teams
  • Support major sales opportunities - Jump into strategic deals to provide operational support, data analysis, and project coordination

What you'll need

  • Management consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or investment banking experience
  • BizOps roles at successful Series A-C startups, particularly in AI/ML or developer tools
  • Technical background - engineering, data science, or product management experience is a plus
  • Industry knowledge - understanding of AI/ML market dynamics and enterprise software sales cycles
