Environmental, health and safety compliance and risk management are critical for businesses striving to operate responsibly and sustainably. As a Consulting Associate, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance based in Ewing, New Jersey, you’ll play a key role in helping clients meet regulatory requirements, reduce risk, and advance their sustainability goals—all while protecting people and the planet.

What You'll Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline. Or equivalent experience.
- 0–2 years of EHS experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, plus analytical and organizational abilities.
- Ability to balance multiple tasks, work independently and as a team member, and travel locally up to 60% of the time.
- Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
- Local candidates only.
Preferred
- Certifications such as ASP, EIT, CHMM, OSHA30 or similar.
- Familiarity with EHS compliance programs and/or management systems.
- Strong interest in developing technical and consulting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with a variety of EHS regulatory compliance and risk management projects.
- Prepare plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, stormwater, and wastewater programs.
- Conduct EHS compliance assessments and implement corrective actions to meet federal, state, and local regulations.
- Support development of EHS compliance and management system programs.
- Provide on-site EHS compliance support to clients as needed.
- Conduct environmental fieldwork and audits, including sampling and ecological studies.
- Carry out inspections, incident investigations, safety observations, job safety analyses, and risk assessments based on OSHA requirements.
- Support multiple projects within scope, budget, and schedule while ensuring quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with ERM Partners-in-Charge and Project Managers to deliver exceptional client service.
