About the role
Role Overview:
ERG is seeking a Recruiter to join our recruiting team and support hiring across our Facilities Group. This role is responsible for managing the full recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing and screening candidates through offer and acceptance, while partnering closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and identify talent.
The position is fully remote; however, we prefer candidates who are in the Washington, DC, area to support in-person collaboration with teams located throughout the region. Experience recruiting cleared talent, particularly candidates supporting Department of Defense (DoD), federal government, or government contractors, is highly preferred.
Job Description:
- Manage full-lifecycle recruiting for a variety of technical, engineering, facilities, and professional positions
- Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, develop recruiting strategies, and establish appropriate sourcing approaches
- Source and proactively identify qualified candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, employee referrals, and other recruiting channels
- Conduct initial phone screens of candidates to assess technical qualifications, experience, communication skills, and interest
- Coordinate interviews and facilitate communication between candidates, hiring managers, interview teams, and other stakeholders throughout the selection process
- Manage candidates through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all recruiting activities
- Provide hiring managers with market insight, candidate feedback, and recommendations throughout the recruiting process
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process to provide a positive candidate experience
- Support continuous improvement of recruiting processes, sourcing strategies, and candidate engagement initiatives
- Participate in career fairs, networking events, university recruiting activities, and other talent acquisition initiatives
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent recruiting experience
- 3+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting for technical, engineering, facilities, or other specialized positions
- Demonstrated ability to source passive candidates and build talent pipelines for difficult-to-fill positions
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate both technical qualifications and overall fit
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong communication and collaboration within a geographically distributed team
- Ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and internal stakeholders
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain a DoD Secret-level security clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience recruiting cleared talent, particularly within DoD, federal government, and government contractors
- Familiarity with federal contract requirements and security clearance processes
- Experience recruiting for positions requiring highly specialized technical or engineering backgrounds
Benefits:
- Competitive salaries and benefits, including health and dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, educational benefits, FSAs, a 401k plan, profit sharing, and an EAP
- 11-20 paid vacation days per year, 10 paid holidays per year, and sick leave per year (pro-rated for part-time)
