Senior Accountant

Primary Responsibilities

• Work with Accounting Manager to maintain accounting records including journal entries, account reconciliations and account roll forwards
• Work with warehouse, manufacturing and purchasing teams to ensure inventory
• Contribute, expand, collaborate, and maintain an inventory count program
• Verify transactions are reported to the correct general ledger accounts
• Review pricing and inventory discrepancies
• Assist with bill of materials, set up material costs and analyze BOM related to inventory control cost of sales and all variances
• Help develop and maintain process and procedure documentation
• Cross-Departmental collaboration
• Assist and/or lead other projects, as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

• Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial accounting
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate (orally and in writing) accounting policies and procedures.
