Landman Intern

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Drafting and negotiating new oil and gas leases and other related agreements.
• Reviewing lease obligations on EQT’s core inventory of currently producing and future planned wells.
• Working and collaborating with multiple sub-departments within EQT, including but not limited to, Operations Planning, Permitting, Title, Business Development, Land Administration, Division Order, Legal and Owner Relations toward a common goal of clearing wells on EQT’s operations schedule for drilling.
• It is expected the candidate will add value to our department, and our company by contributing new ideas and fresh perspectives and applying them to the day-to-day development related dilemmas we face and decisions we make.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Energy Land Management, Petroleum Land Management, Project Management, Energy Law, Oil and Gas Law
• Required degree: Pursuing a degree in Energy Land Management, Petroleum Land Management, Business Administration, or a Master’s in Business Administration or pursing a Juris Doctorate, preferably with a concentration in either Energy Law or Coal, Oil and gas Law
• Experience working on projects in Oil and Gas, Energy or other related experience where project management and an acute attention to detail were required.
