Corporate Tax Intern

Responsibilities:

• Tax return support – gather data and prepare workpapers for federal/state income tax returns (corporate and partnership)
• Provision assistance – help prepare schedules feeding the quarterly/annual income tax provision (book-tax differences)
• Fixed asset/depreciation work – update depreciation schedules, reconcile fixed asset additions/disposals, tag assets to proper tax lives

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation, business, data analytics, or a related field.
• Completion of introductory accounting coursework; tax coursework is preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to handle confidential financial and tax information appropriately.
