The Team You’ll Join
You will join a high-impact leadership team within Envestnet's Advisor Sales & Wealth Consulting organization, responsible for driving enterprise growth through advisor engagement, managed account adoption, and strategic client partnerships. As the senior leader of the Financial Advisor Sales organization, you will oversee a nationwide team of sales leaders and consultants while working closely with executive stakeholders across the business.
This role offers the opportunity to influence corporate strategy, shape the future of advisor distribution, and lead a team dedicated to expanding Envestnet's presence within the wealth management industry. You will partner with cross-functional leaders to bring innovative solutions to advisors and institutions, helping drive sustainable growth and long-term client success.
How You’ll Contribute
The VP, National Advisory Sales leads Envestnet’s national FA Sales organization, overseeing all divisions, Regional Directors, and Regional Consultants across the country. This executive is responsible for setting the strategic direction for advisor engagement, driving Managed Account adoption, and achieving enterprise growth objectives.
As a senior leader within the Advisor Sales & Wealth Consulting organization, the VP, National Advisory Sales builds and develops a high-performing field organization, fosters deep partnerships with Home Office leaders, and ensures Envestnet’s platform and solutions are effectively positioned to serve financial advisors and their clients. The role requires a visionary sales leader who can blend strategy, execution, and people leadership to deliver measurable and sustainable growth.

Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute the national FA Sales strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities, revenue goals, and long-term growth of Managed Accounts and Financial Wellness Solutions.

Organizational Oversight:
- Lead, coach, and develop all Regional Directors and Regional Consultants, ensuring clear accountability, consistent execution, and collaboration across divisions.

Revenue Growth & Adoption:
- Drive platform adoption, advisor acquisition, and asset growth across all territories by optimizing sales processes, territory coverage, and client engagement models.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with Home Office leadership, Customer Success, Marketing, and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver seamless advisor experiences and integrated enterprise solutions.

Operational Excellence:
- Oversee pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and performance metrics to ensure disciplined execution and achievement of sales targets across the organization.

Market Strategy & Insights:
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and advisor needs; translate insights into actionable strategies to expand Envestnet’s market leadership.

Enterprise Partnerships:
- Collaborate with asset management distribution, wealth management institutions, and internal business units to promote outsourced solutions and enhance platform engagement.

Team Culture & Development:
- Foster a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative culture within the FA Sales organization that emphasizes client focus, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Representation & Advocacy:
- Serve as the face of FA Sales at national conferences, client summits, and executive meetings, representing Envestnet’s value proposition to senior-level partners and advisors.

Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and risk standards while maintaining operational excellence across teams and processes.

Travel Requirement:
- Approximately 50–75% travel to support regional teams, clients, and enterprise initiatives.
What You’ll Need to Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in financial services, advisory platforms, or asset management distribution.
- 7+ years in senior leadership roles managing multi-level, geographically dispersed sales organizations.
- Proven ability to develop and execute large-scale sales strategies that drive adoption, growth, and client retention.
- Deep understanding of financial advisory models, Managed Accounts, and the broader wealth management ecosystem.
- Exceptional executive presence and ability to influence across all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to translate insights into performance improvements.
- Demonstrated success in leading through change, scaling organizations, and developing leadership talent.
- Collaborative mindset, adept at leading in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Our Investment in You
This role offers a base salary range of $240,000 to $300,000. The range listed represents a good-faith estimate of base salary compensation for this position and does not include incentive compensation, equity or benefits. Individual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. This role is eligible for an additional incentive component as part of the total rewards package.
