Job Description
You will:\n- Partner with product teams to architect, design, and build the foundational infrastructure for our products.\n- Exhibit agility in technology decision-making and adaptability in work methodologies, given our dynamic early-stage startup environment. Capable of building infrastructure components from scratch, matching the rapid velocity demands of an early-stage startup.\n- Design, develop, and deploy highly available and scalable Multi-tenant SaaS solutions on any one of the public cloud networks like AWS, Azure and GCP. Leverage technologies such as Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and Istio to achieve infrastructure resilience.\n- Drive the automation of infrastructure tasks, from provisioning to configuration management and deployment, utilizing tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes.\n- Collaborate closely with the software development team to refine CI/CD pipelines, e.g., using GitHub Actions and Cloud Build tools, enhance service interfaces, and improve the overall developer experience.\n- Do Scripting in Shell, Python.\n\n### Nice to Have\n- ML/OPs experience\n- Architect and implement advanced observability solutions using tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Ensure real-time alerting and error tracking with Sentry and Pagerduty to maintain system health and performance.\n- Proactively and automatically identify and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance standards.\n- Deploy comprehensive testing frameworks, including tools like Selenium for end-to-end testing. Ensure robust integration and system testing to maintain software quality.\n- Engineer sophisticated network designs that facilitate a multi-cloud data-plane through private links, all while centralizing the control plane within cloud provider service.\n- Performance Analysis: Regularly monitor system health, analyze performance metrics, and recommend enhancements. This includes optimizing database queries and ensuring peak database performance.\n- Experience with query optimization, data normalization, and related performance improvement techniques.\n- Experience with event-driven data and machine learning infrastructure, including streaming pipelines, database systems, model training\n\n### Qualifications:\n- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.\n- 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure engineering, or a similar role, preferably using Azure.\n- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.\n- Ability to work independently and as part of a team\n- Experience working with global teams\n- Experience with air-gapped cloud environments or private clouds
