About the role
About ElevenLabs
ElevenLabs is an AI research and product company transforming how we interact with technology.
We launched in January 2023 with the first human-like AI voice model. Today, we serve millions of users and thousands of businesses, from fast-growing startups to large enterprises like Deutsche Telekom and Meta. Our investors include Andreessen Horowitz, ICONIQ Growth and Sequoia. We've raised $781M in funding and our last valuation was $22B.
We have expanded from voice into three main platforms:
- ElevenAgents enables businesses to deliver seamless and intelligent customer experiences, with the integrations, testing, monitoring, and reliability necessary to deploy voice and chat agents at scale.
- ElevenCreative empowers creators and marketers to generate and edit speech, music, image, and video across 70+ languages.
- ElevenAPI gives developers access to our leading AI audio foundational models.
Everything we do is the result of the creativity and commitment of our team. We are researchers, engineers, and operators. If you want to work hard and create lasting positive impact, we want to hear from you.
How we work
- High-velocity: Rapid experimentation, lean autonomous teams, and minimal bureaucracy.
- Impact not job titles: We don't have job titles. Instead, it's about the impact you have. No task is above or beneath you.
- AI first: We use AI to move faster with higher-quality results across the whole company, from engineering to growth to operations.
- Excellence everywhere: Everything we do should match the quality of our AI models.
- Global team: We prioritize your talent, not your location.
What we offer
- Innovative culture: You'll be part of a generational opportunity to define the trajectory of AI.
- Growth paths: Countless opportunities to drive impact beyond your immediate role and responsibilities.
- Learning & development: An annual discretionary stipend for professional development.
- Social travel: An annual discretionary stipend to meet up with colleagues.
- Annual company offsite: The entire team comes together each year in a new location.
- Co-working: A monthly co-working stipend if you are not located near one of our main hubs.
About the role
ElevenLabs is looking for a Value Strategist to help our customers identify, quantify, and realize the business value of ElevenLabs across our portfolio, with a primary focus on ElevenAgents.
This is a senior individual contributor role within our global Revenue organization, spanning the full customer lifecycle from early sales conversations through proof of concept, deployment, renewal, and expansion. You will work directly with customers and prospects to understand their businesses, build the case for investment, and establish how that value will be measured over time.
On our most strategic accounts, Deployment Strategists in our Forward Deployed Engineering team already build account-specific business cases and ROI narratives. You will partner with them rather than duplicate that work. Your mandate is the value discipline across the Enterprise, Mid-Market, and Commercial accounts, where value today is quantified deal by deal or not at all. You will build the frameworks, benchmarks, calculators, and playbooks that let every seller articulate and measure value consistently.
This is not a quota-carrying role, nor is it a traditional advisory function. We are looking for a builder and a doer who can engage credibly with senior customer stakeholders, get deep into a customer's operations and data, build rigorous models themselves, and turn ambiguous business problems into clear, actionable recommendations.
In this role you will
- Shape value from the beginning. Partner with Revenue teams and prospects early in the sales cycle to understand customer priorities, identify high-value opportunities, and establish the business case for investing in ElevenLabs.
- Build our global value strategy. Develop the frameworks, benchmarks, calculators, discovery approaches, and playbooks that define how ElevenLabs approaches value across industries and use cases.
- Scale what works. Turn bespoke work with our largest customers into repeatable approaches that enable our Enterprise, Mid-Market, and Commercial teams to measure value without bespoke support for every customer.
- Identify where ElevenLabs can have the greatest impact. Develop a deep understanding of a customer's business, workflows, economics, and strategic priorities.
- Quantify the opportunity. Build rigorous financial and operational models that translate ElevenLabs use cases into measurable outcomes across revenue, cost, productivity, and customer experience.
- Define how value will be proven. Establish success metrics and measurement approaches for proofs of concept and deployments.
- Measure value realization. Partner with customers and internal teams after deployment to understand the impact delivered, identify gaps between expected and realized value, and find additional opportunities.
- Support expansion and long-term customer value. Use insights from existing deployments to identify where ElevenLabs can drive additional impact.
- Work directly with the data. Analyze customer and industry data, build models, pressure-test assumptions, and develop recommendations.
- Partner with Deployment. On strategic accounts, work alongside Deployment Strategists, contributing methodology and capturing what works into reusable assets.
- Influence senior stakeholders. Communicate complex analysis simply and credibly, and engage with senior leaders internally and externally.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience across operating roles, strategy, management consulting, analytics, finance, customer strategy, or other roles requiring rigorous business problem solving.
- Strong operating judgment. You understand how businesses work and can quickly get underneath a customer's operating model, workflows, economics, and strategic priorities.
- Exceptional analytical ability. You can build sophisticated financial and operational models, work with incomplete information, make assumptions explicit, and turn analysis into decisions.
- Structured problem solving. You are comfortable starting with an ambiguous question and developing a rigorous approach to answering it.
- Customer credibility. You can work directly with customers across functions and levels, ask incisive questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and establish trust quickly.
- Commercial judgment. You understand how business value connects to technology investment decisions and can partner closely with Revenue teams while maintaining an objective, customer-first perspective.
- Excellent communication. You can distill complex analysis into a clear point of view and communicate it effectively from working teams through senior executives.
- A builder mentality. You are excited to start by doing the work yourself and turn what works into scalable methodologies and tools.
- Comfort with ambiguity and pace. You can move quickly across industries, customer types, and use cases while maintaining a high bar for analytical rigor.
- Ability to operate globally. You are comfortable partnering with teams and customers across regions and traveling when valuable.
- Willingness to travel. Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time.
Bonus points
- Experience in strategy or management consulting, particularly in operational transformation, technology, customer experience, or growth.
- Experience as an operator within a technology company or other fast-moving business.
- Experience working on AI, automation, customer experience, or technology-enabled business transformation.
- Experience developing business cases, value frameworks, or analytical methodologies that were scaled beyond an individual project or customer.
- Experience working with enterprise customers on complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Location
This is a global role within the Revenue organization. The role can be based in San Francisco or remotely, with the option to work from our San Francisco office.
You will work with customers and ElevenLabs teams across regions and should expect travel for customer meetings and onsite work when it meaningfully advances the work.
We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability or other legally protected statuses.
