Sr. Application Engineer - Xactly

What is The Role

As a Senior Application Engineer on our IT Team, you'll be instrumental in developing and implementing solutions that help us meet our business objectives with Xactly. What You Will Be Doing:

• Build, maintain, and optimize Connect integration pipelines between source systems and Xactly.
• Partner with non-technical stakeholders (comp analysts, finance ops), Sales Compensation, Accounting, Sales, and IT to define data requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues, failed Connect jobs, data mismatches, and pipeline errors before commission runs.
• Document pipeline configurations, field mappings, and transformation logic so the next developer doesn't have to reverse-engineer it.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of hands-on Xactly Connect experience, specifically with data pipelines, transformations, and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Xactly Extend and Xactly CEA.
• Strong SQL skills for writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting queries, alongside familiarity with ETL concepts and flat-file/SFTP data exchange patterns.
• Experience with source system integrations such as SFDC, Workday, NetSuite, or similar CRM/HCM/ERP platforms.
• Strong attention to detail, recognizing that errors in comp data have a direct pay impact.
• Nice to Have: Xactly certification(s), knowledge of ICM/SPM processes (quota, territory, crediting, payment cycles), scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, or shell) for Connect job automation, and familiarity with data warehousing or BI tools (Snowflake, Tableau, etc.).
