About the role

  • Will manage Releases of Company products onto staging and production servers in distributed environments.
  • Will develop automated build and deployment scripts.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Build and Release Management with emphasis on process and tools.
  • Has working knowledge of one or more Version Control systems like CVS, Subversion, Perforce, ClearCase. Admin experience of any of these tools a definite plus.
  • Good Knowledge of scripting in a Unix environment (Shell, Perl, Python).
  • Good Knowledge of Build Scripting in ANT/Make.
  • Good knowledge of Release Processes (Patch, Hotfixes, Staged Releases etc)
  • User level knowledge of SQL script/statements execution.
  • Must be comfortable in a Unix environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, and excellent analytical skills
