Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js and React.js.
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Develop robust back-end services, RESTful APIs, and business logic using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design, manage, and optimize databases using MongoDB and/or SQL databases.
• Integrate third-party APIs, services, and external systems.
• Write clean, reusable, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across the front-end and back-end.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, QA engineers, and other developers.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing application maintenance.
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and contribute to sprint planning and project discussions.

Skills Required

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and hands-on experience with Node.js and React.js.
• Experience in developing full-stack web applications using the MERN stack or similar technologies.
• Good understanding of front-end development, back-end programming, and API integration.
• Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of database design, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a development team.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with React Hooks, component-based architecture, and state management.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and Express.js.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and handling authentication and authorization.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, middleware, and server-side application architecture.
• Experience with MongoDB and/or SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of database schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
• Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and debugging tools.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker and application deployment practices is an advantage.

Education

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
