Ideal Candidate:

The accountant will support the Finance team in managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate books of accounts, processing intercompany cross charges and billing, and providing cross-functional support during internal audits. The role will ensure timely and accurate financial record-keeping while adhering to company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations:

• Perform day-to-day accounting entries and maintain accurate books of accounts.
• Record, verify, and reconcile financial transactions.
• Assist in month-end accounting activities and preparation of accounting schedules.
• Ensure accounting records are maintained in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Preparing PO, PI and excellence in Zoho P2P process.

Intercompany Accounting & Billing:

• Process intercompany cross charges and billing transactions accurately and on time.
• Reconcile intercompany balances and coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain supporting documentation for intercompany transactions.

Audit Support:

• Provide cross-functional support during internal & statutory audits.
• Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and required financial information.
• Coordinate with internal & external teams to ensure timely closure of audit queries.
• Assist in implementing recommendations arising from audit observations.

Accounting Controls & Compliance:

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
• Maintain proper documentation for financial transactions.
• Support adherence to internal financial controls and compliance requirements.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with finance and cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of accounting activities.
• Support ad hoc finance and accounting assignments as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance operations & audit support.
• 2 years of expertise in Zoho is Mandatory.
