Business Development Executive

Role Overview

We are looking for freshers who are genuinely passionate about sales and committed to building a long-term career in IT business development, not those who view it merely as a job. The initial role focuses on lead generation, prospect research, nurturing relationships, and meeting setting, with opportunities to progress into full-cycle sales based on performance and capabilities. A proactive attitude, persistence, resilience, and willingness to learn are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation: Identify potential companies and build a pipeline of relevant B2B prospects across target industries and international markets.
• Prospect Research: Understand target companies, their business models, industry challenges, and potential technology requirements.
• Decision-Maker Identification: Identify and connect with relevant stakeholders, including founders, CEOs, directors, and department heads.
• Multichannel Outreach: Engage prospects through LinkedIn, email, phone calls, and other relevant channels.
• Lead Nurturing: Build professional relationships through meaningful conversations and consistent follow-ups.
• Opportunity Qualification: Understand prospect requirements and identify opportunities aligned with our IT and technology services.
• Meeting Setting: Convert qualified prospects into business meetings and coordinate with internal sales and technical teams.
• Market Research: Follow business news, current affairs, industry developments, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and build relevant conversations.
• CRM Management: Maintain accurate prospect information, communication records, follow-ups, and meeting updates.
• Performance Tracking: Work towards assigned targets and continuously improve outreach effectiveness, lead quality, and meeting conversion.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to align on prospect requirements, coordinate meetings, and ensure smooth handover of qualified leads and business opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills

• A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Freshers with a clear understanding of IT and technology services are encouraged to apply.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to initiate and sustain meaningful conversations.
• Good research skills and the ability to identify relevant prospects and decision-makers.
• Awareness of current affairs, business news, and technology trends is an added advantage.
• Confidence in communicating with professionals across different industries and seniority levels.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Excel, email outreach, and CRM tools is beneficial.
• A willingness to learn, accept feedback, and adapt to changing business requirements.

Career Growth Opportunity

The initial focus will be on lead generation, prospect engagement, qualification, and meeting setting. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance, commercial understanding, and the ability to manage client relationships may progress into a full-cycle sales role, handling opportunities through discussions, solution presentations, proposals, negotiations, and closure. Career progression will be based on demonstrated performance, capabilities, and readiness to take on greater responsibility.

Who Should Apply?

Freshers who are ambitious, curious about technology, comfortable with challenges, and serious about building a career in B2B sales. Prior sales experience is not required. A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, resilience, and genuine interest in sales are essential. If you are ready to learn, take ownership, and turn conversations into business opportunities, we would love to hear from you.
