Senior Manager – DevOps | Chennai Engineer the foundation of innovation — lead the systems that keep enterprise AI running seamlessly Location: Chennai, India Experience: 10–14 years in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering (with experience leading high-performance engineering teams) Leaders who don’t just automate pipelines but architect reliable, scalable, and secure systems that drive enterprise intelligence Role Overview As a Senior Manager – DevOps, you will lead a team responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and reliability frameworks. You’ll work closely with product, data, and engineering teams to ensure that our AI-driven platforms are secure, scalable, and continuously available. You will set the direction for DevOps strategy, mentor engineers, and drive a culture of automation and operational excellence. What makes you right for this role DevOps Leadership – Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers to design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure. Cloud Infrastructure Management – Architect and manage multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with a focus on security, scalability, and cost optimization. Automation at Scale – Drive end-to-end automation for deployments, monitoring, and infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins. Reliability Engineering – Champion observability, incident response, and performance tuning across all production environments. Continuous Improvement – Implement best practices for CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and infrastructure as code. Collaboration – Work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and product teams to ensure smooth releases and high availability. The person you’re Proven experience managing and scaling DevOps or SRE teams in a fast-paced product environment. Strong expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, ArgoCD), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation). Deep understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP services and cloud-native architectures. Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog). Strong background in networking, security, and disaster recovery planning. Passionate about automation, reliability, and enabling developer productivity. Based in Chennai with the ability to collaborate with distributed teams across regions.
