Technical Instructional Designer (Assessment Programs)

Summary

The Instructional Designer (Assessment Programs) supports and leads the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of technical certifications, assessments, and learning materials across the Cornerstone Certification Program. This role contributes to the full lifecycle of credential development, from Job Task Analysis (JTA), blueprint design, and item development through standard setting, LMS asset management, and recurring program operations, while also executing hands-on development and maintenance tasks with a high degree of quality and accuracy.

In This Role You Will

• Certification Design and Development: Participate in and support the design, development, and refresh of certifications and assessments, including Job Task Analysis (JTA), Minimally Qualified Candidate (MQC) profiling, examination blueprint design, item development, standard setting, and cut score determination, in alignment with industry credentialing standards.
• Content Maintenance and Accuracy: Execute ongoing certification maintenance activities, including content updates tied to product releases, item bank revisions, metadata and link corrections, and updates to Salesforce Knowledge articles to keep credentials current and accurate.
• Project and Program Management: Manage assigned certification development tasks and deliverables within established timelines, communicating progress and escalating blockers as needed.
• Program Documentation and SOPs: Maintain accurate program documentation related to assigned development activities, including task inventories, item records, blueprints, MQC profiles, cut score records, update logs, and SOPs.
• Collaboration and Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with team members and stakeholders to ensure development activities are aligned with broader program strategy, stakeholder expectations, and delivery timelines.
