About the role
A quick snapshot…
As Director, Accounting at Conga, you will lead the global accounting function, overseeing the integrity and accuracy of the company’s financial reporting, close processes, and compliance framework. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations while continuing to build scalable processes that support a high-growth SaaS environment.
You will partner closely with Finance, FP&A, Legal, and business leaders to ensure alignment between operational activities and financial outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will both guide the team and actively contribute to key deliverables such as month-end close, audits, and technical accounting matters.

At Conga, Accounting is a critical pillar of our financial foundation. This role ensures the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of our financials—supporting executive decision-making, board reporting, and investor confidence.
The Director, Accounting plays a central role in managing the close process, preparing for and leading annual audits, and continuously improving accounting operations. This position also drives cross-functional alignment, ensuring that financial processes scale with the business while maintaining strong internal controls and compliance standards.

You bring a proactive approach to identifying issues, solving problems, and influencing decisions through data and financial insight. Your ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution sets you apart.
Operational excellence You have a strong track record of building and improving accounting processes, ensuring accuracy while increasing efficiency. You understand how to scale systems and workflows in a growing organization and can implement best practices that stand up to audit and compliance scrutiny.
Initiative You take ownership of outcomes and don’t wait for direction. Whether it’s improving close timelines, enhancing reporting, or addressing gaps in controls, you proactively identify opportunities and drive them through to completion.
