Senior Business Intelligence Engineer

Opportunity Overview:\nWe are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Intelligence team. In this role, you will design, build, and optimize scalable data models and analytical assets that power reporting and self-service analytics across the organization. You will play a key role in strengthening our BI ecosystem by partnering closely with data platforms, and product teams to deliver high-quality, governed, and performant datasets and dashboards, while upholding best practices and standards.\n\nThis is an ideal opportunity for an experienced BI engineer who thrives in a hands-on technical role, can independently support complex initiatives, and is passionate about building clean, reliable, and scalable data foundations. This position offers the chance to have a substantial influence on the company, with the potential for rapid career advancement in a highly visible environment.\n\n### What you’ll do:\n- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into functional requirements.\n- Design, develop, and maintain BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.).\n- Build and optimize Tableau dashboards and KPI frameworks with a focus on performance, usability, governance, and row-level security.\n- Ensure data consistency and quality in reports by working closely with the data management team.\n- Apply best practices in dbt modeling, testing, version control, and release management to ensure high-quality, maintainable pipelines.\n- Perform data analysis and ad-hoc queries to support business decision-making.\n- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging BI technologies.\n\n### ISMS roles and responsibilities:\n- Good knowledge of Information practices.\n- Assist the manager in all the information security activities implementation and maintenance process.\n- Ensuring the  team and imparted with Competence related to Information security\n- Responsible for implementation of security policies and procedures and report any issues to the Information Security Manager.\n\n### Required Qualifications:\n\nMust-haves\n- 6+ years of professional experience in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data engineering, preferably in healthcare or another data-rich, regulated domain.\n- Self-starter, able to work independently, able to succeed in a fast-paced, high intensity start-up environment\n- Excellent english communication skills, with proven ability to create & deliver the results of analyses to non-technical audiences\n- Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong hands-on experience with analytics engineering frameworks such as dbt.\n- Strong experience with Tableau (Cloud and Desktop), including dashboard development, row-level security, performance optimization, and basic administration.\n- Experience working with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.\n- Experience working in AWS-based data platforms.\n\n### Nice-to-haves\n- Experience with dbt or with similar tools\n- Experience with Python.\n- Exposure to additional BI platforms such as Power BI, Sisense, or open-source BI tools.\n- Experience supporting dashboard embedding and integration into web applications.\n- Background in healthcare payer analytics, utilization management, or clinical workflows.\n- Previous experience working in a global model\n\n### Ability to commute/relocate:\n- Hyderabad, Telangana*: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)\n\n### Interview Process*:\n1.
