QA Automation Engineer

QA Automation Engineer (Appium/Selenium)\n\n### Key Responsibilities:\n- Perform manual functional testing for mobile applications.\n- Develop and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium.\n- Convert manual test cases into automated test scripts.\n- Execute tests on cloud device farms (BrowserStack / SauceLabs / LambdaTest).\n- Conduct API testing and database validation using basic SQL.\n- Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA with proper root-cause analysis.\n- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.\n\nAs a QA Automation Engineer, you should demonstrate: \n- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and OOP concepts\n- Experience designing reusable and scalable automation frameworks using concepts like class-based design and Page Object Model (POM)\n- Hands-on experience in Appium or Selenium\n- Experience with both manual functional testing and transitioning manual test cases to automated scripts\n- Experience with cloud device farms (e.g., BrowserStack, SauceLabs or LambdaTest)\n- Experience in API testing\n- Experience with database testing, with basic SQL queries\n- Tools: Git, GitHub, JIRA (Defect tracking), Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions\n- Strong root-cause analysis skills, and bug reporting practices\n\n\n- Work experience requirements : 4+ years in QA, with strong automation experience (mobile preferred)\n- Whom this role is suited for: Keen to work in high-impact projects Available to join asap, and work from the Kochi office Experience in start-up environments preferred\n- Job Location: Infopark Phase 2, Kochi
