Field & Demand Generation Manager

About CloudBees

CloudBees helps organizations build, run, and govern software factories, giving enterprises the confidence to ship software better, faster, and safer.

Writing code is no longer the bottleneck. Governing what reaches production and validating its impact is. As enterprises adopt agentic coding, software is created faster than most teams can review, secure, and validate. Without consistent governance, organizations risk shipping code they cannot explain, audit, or trust.

CloudBees addresses this challenge without asking teams to replace the tools they already use. Across every toolchain a customer runs, CloudBees makes each change, human or AI, visible, auditable, and accountable before it reaches production. CloudBees Unify is the product behind this: a governance layer, with context and control-plane capabilities, that enforces consistent policy and evidence across every tool, team, and workflow.

Founded in 2010, CloudBees is backed by Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Bridgepoint Capital, HSBC, Golub Capital, Delta-v Capital, Matrix Partners, and Lightspeed Venture Partners.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Field & Demand Generation Manager to own field and demand marketing for North America. This person will run the regional field and demand plan: executive events and roundtables, regional and partner programs, account-based plays, and the digital programs that fill and follow up on them. Every program is measured on pipeline and revenue, not attendance.

This is a highly cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, BDR, product marketing, marketing ops, and brand/content. You will be one of the primary marketing partners to the North America sales team and its regional sales leaders: building the quarterly plan with them, running the programs in their territories, holding the line on follow-up, and pushing back with data when a program is not working.

You'll thrive in this role if you are equal parts strategic and hands-on: someone who can build the plan with sales leaders, stand up an executive dinner in a new city, launch the campaign that fills it, and clearly connect every program to pipeline and revenue outcomes.

Requirements

What You'll Do

• Own the North America field and demand plan, agreed with sales leadership and tied to pipeline and revenue goals.
• Act as the marketing partner to regional sales leaders: set the quarterly plan with them, review results with them, and agree target accounts with account executives, BDRs, and RevOps.
• Plan and run field programs: executive dinners and roundtables, regional events and roadshows, trade show presence, customer programs, and user groups.
• Run partner and co-marketing programs with cloud and technology partners, including MDF-funded activity.
• Run the digital programs that fill and follow up on field activity: paid media, email, webinars, content syndication, nurture, and retargeting.
• Build and run account-based and pipeline acceleration programs for priority accounts, including in-person touches for late-stage deals.
• Own the regional field and campaign calendar, event budgets and vendors, and forecast-to-actuals reporting.
• Collaborate with product marketing on messaging, positioning, launches, and persona-based campaign development.
• Work with content, brand, and web teams to develop landing pages, campaign assets, nurture journeys, and conversion paths.
• Partner with marketing operations to ensure clean campaign setup, attribution, reporting, lead routing, and funnel visibility.
• Own event and hand-raiser follow-up with the BDR team, so every lead is routed and worked within an agreed SLA.
• Report weekly on MQLs, MQL to SQL conversion, Stage 1 pipeline, and cost per opportunity by program, and cut or rework what does not convert.
• Bring a test-and-learn mindset to channel mix, messaging, offers, and segmentation.
• Help improve how field and demand marketing operate by identifying smarter workflows, automation opportunities, and scalable execution models.

What Success Looks Like

• Marketing is seen as a trusted growth partner to every North America sales leader.
• Field events and campaigns generate measurable impact on pipeline creation, opportunity acceleration, and revenue contribution.
• Regional programs are executed with strong alignment, clear reporting, and continuous optimization.
• The handoff between marketing, BDR, and sales is tight, timely, and effective.
• Event-sourced pipeline is reported by program, and events that do not convert are cut or reworked.
• North America has a repeatable field calendar that sales leaders plan around, backed by digital programs that fill every event and follow up on every lead.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in B2B field marketing and demand generation, ideally in SaaS or enterprise technology, with personal ownership of both field programs and digital demand programs (not events-only or digital-only).
• Has planned and run executive events, roundtables, and regional programs end to end: venue, audience acquisition, run of show, follow-up, and pipeline reporting.
• Strong experience running regional field and demand programs across North America.
• Proven track record of building integrated campaigns that drive qualified pipeline and revenue impact.
• Experience as the marketing partner to regional sales leaders: building plans with them, defending trade-offs, and holding the team to follow-up SLAs.
• Ability to manage both top-of-funnel demand creation and mid-/late-funnel pipeline acceleration.
• Hands-on experience with field channels (events, executive programs, partner co-marketing, ABM) and digital channels (paid social, search, email, webinars, nurture).
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data to guide budget allocation, optimization, and stakeholder conversations.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where you may need to build while operating.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Willing to travel regularly across North America for regional events and sales planning.
• Able to influence cross-functional teams and work effectively across functions and levels.

What We Value

• Customer Obsessed — You treat customer problems as your own and build relationships with the people behind the logo, not just the account. You can point to decisions you changed because of what a customer told you.
• High Agency — You own problems beyond your job description and move without waiting to be asked. When the path isn't defined, you make the call and bring people with you rather than working around them.
• Truth Seeking — You hold a strong point of view and update it when the data says otherwise. You argue for the best answer regardless of who's in the room, and once a decision is made, you commit to it fully.
• Hard Work — You own the end result, not just your slice of it, and you go beyond what's expected to get there. You work smart as well as hard, and you find real reward in building something demanding alongside people who do the same.
• Ship Excellence — You hold a painfully high quality bar and keep raising it, while shipping with urgency instead of waiting for perfect. Every iteration is something you learn from.
• Direct Feedback — You give honest, constructive feedback regardless of seniority or tenure, and you actively ask for it in return. You deliver it with enough care that people want to hear it from you.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Pay Range: $130,000 - $150,000 annually In accordance with applicable law, this represents a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location and may be more or less than the amount shown above. Outside of base compensation, CloudBees also offers stock options and variable bonuses.
