Software Engineer

Role Summary:

We are seeking a SDE - Intern who will actively contribute to the high throughput Pre-Dispatch: Integrations platform at ClickPost. In this role, you will develop code that will impact the scale-up and scale-out of one of the core verticals at ClickPost.

Within:

• 1 month you will be getting up to speed on the product, application & processes and start rolling out your initial contributions to the real time impact generating production system.
• 3 months you will be actively contributing to the high throughput integrations platform end to end, that serve use cases across multiple operational services and geographies, while following an AI first approach.
• 6 months you will be actively contributing to the core functions and initiatives of the platform that are aimed at improving velocity, building automation and increasing visibility.

Tech Stack/Tools We Work On -

• Programming Languages: Java, Kotlin
• Databases: Postgres, Scylla
• Event queues: Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ElasticSearch
• Cloud: AWS, GCP

What you will need to crack this role:

• Should have hands-on coding experience
• Should have a strong understanding of computer engineering fundamentals, server side programming, web applications and any related framework, relational databases, testing and software development principles.
• Should have clear communication.
• Should have a high zeal to learn, take initiatives and adapt in a fast paced environment.
• Good to have experience in developing production applications / contributing to live open source projects.
