Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

Python Development & Automation

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based internal tools to support engineering and business operations.
• Build automation solutions for Microsoft Excel data processing, reporting, and workflow optimization.
• Read, write, manipulate, and validate Excel files using Python libraries.
• Enhance existing applications by adding new features, improving performance, and resolving defects.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation scripts and tools.

Communication & Documentation

• Prepare clear technical documentation, reports, and user guides.
• Create professional presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint to communicate project updates and technical concepts.
• Draft clear and effective email communications with internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with engineering and business teams to gather feedback and continuously improve solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Intermediate-level proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience developing automation tools using Python.
• Strong knowledge of Excel automation using libraries.
• Understanding of data validation, processing, and reporting techniques.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and professional email drafting skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Education:

• BE/BTech in Electronics/Electronics and Communications Engineering.
