VP, Customer Onboarding & Professional Services

Vice President, Customer Onboarding and Professional Services

Who We Are

Bidgely (which means "electricity" in Hindi) is a Vertical AI company built for the utility industry, delivering appliance-level intelligence for every customer, grid asset, and hour of the year through our UtilityAI™ Platform. We're accelerating a clean energy future by giving utilities and their customers the ability to make smarter, data-driven energy decisions.

Bidgely's platform is connected to 50M+ meters across over 50 utility deployments and is backed by over 20 patents. Our approach combines patented disaggregation science, generative AI for natural-language insight, and agentic AI for autonomous operations — giving utilities a level of individual-customer intelligence and grid insights that horizontal AI and legacy analytics platforms can't match.

Bidgely has been named #7 in Applied AI on Fast Company's list of Most Innovative Companies in the World and recognized as a Utility Analytics Leader by Guidehouse.

What We Do

Powered by our unique patented technology, Bidgely's UtilityAI™ Platform transforms multiple dimensions of utility data — such as energy consumption, demographics, and customer interactions — into deeply accurate and actionable consumer energy insights. We leverage these insights to empower each customer with personalized recommendations tailored to their individual personality and lifestyle, usage attributes, behavioral patterns, purchase propensity and beyond.

The same technology that powers Bidgely's customer suite also enables a set of powerful grid applications. From a distributed energy resources (DER) and grid edge perspective, Bidgely is accelerating utility innovation with data-driven solutions for solar PVs, electric vehicle (EV) detection, EV behavioral load shifting and managed charging, load forecasting, grid analytics, and rate designs. Bidgely's UtilityAI™ energy analytics platform provides deep visibility into generation and consumption for better peak load shaping and grid planning and delivers targeted recommendations for new value-added products and services.

How You Fit In

The Vice President, Customer Onboarding and Professional Services leads Bidgely's global consulting organization — a team of 40+ professionals who bring the UtilityAI™ Platform to life for utilities around the world. This leader owns the full services lifecycle: from contracting and onboarding, through implementation and launch, to the ongoing professional services that help live customers expand their programs and realize more value over time. The role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and serves as a member of Bidgely's senior leadership team.

The organization includes the VP of Global Delivery, the Director of Project Management, Technical Program Managers, Solution Architects, and Delivery Consultants. Together, this team blends deep technical, functional, and program management expertise to deliver complex, high-impact programs for some of the largest utilities in the world.

Bidgely's platform and our customers' needs are evolving quickly. Generative and agentic AI, new grid and distributed energy resources (DER) infrastructure use cases, and an expanding product portfolio are opening new opportunities for utilities — and raising the bar for how quickly and robustly value is delivered. The VP will lead the next stage of the services organization's growth: further scaling and productizing how we deliver, developing the team and leaders who will carry Bidgely forward, and making every engagement a showcase for Bidgely as the trusted AI partner to the utility industry.

Core responsibilities span the following areas:

Organizational Leadership & Talent

• Lead, develop, and inspire a 40+ person organization spanning delivery, program management, solution architecture, and consulting
• Build a strong team and client-centric culture grounded in ownership, technical excellence, collaboration, and a shared commitment to customer outcomes

• Attract, hire, and retain top talent, and build a deep bench of next-generation services leaders
• Set clear goals, performance expectations, and development plans across the organization, and coach leaders to do the same

Services Evolution & Delivery Excellence

• Partner with Product, Engineering, DevOps, Data Science, and Data Engineering so every launch is coordinated, well-governed, and set up for success from day one
• Define and track the KPIs that matter — time-to-value, delivery quality, customer satisfaction, utilization, and margin — and use them to drive continuous improvement
• Champion AI and automation within the services organization to increase speed, consistency, and scale

Financial Management

• Own the full services P&L, including contracting and revenue forecasting, gross margin, utilization, and cost management
• Lead resource and capacity planning to align talent, skills, and staffing with the project pipeline and company growth plans
• Partner with Sales and Finance to set standards for services scoping, pricing, statements of work, and change orders
• Develop packaged services offerings and pricing models that create value for customers and support profitable growth. Report services performance, forecasts, and investment priorities to the COO and executive leadership

• Serve as the executive sponsor for Bidgely's most strategic utility relationships, building trusted, long-term partnerships with customer executives
• Act as the senior point of accountability for strategic engagements, keeping Bidgely and customer leadership teams aligned on outcomes

• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to identify and shape services-led expansion opportunities
• Represent Bidgely's services organization in executive business reviews, strategic pursuits, and industry forums

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Product, and Engineering to deliver a seamless customer experience from contract through steady state

• Collaborate with Sales leadership on deal strategy, solution design, and capacity planning for new and expanding business

• Contribute to company-wide strategy as a member of Bidgely's senior leadership team.
