Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys through all phases of commercial litigation, including discovery, motion practice, hearings, arbitration, and trial
- Prepare, organize, and file pleadings and other documents in California state and federal courts, including through PACER/ECF and other e-filing systems
- Manage case files, deadlines, calendars, and workflows to ensure matters progress efficiently and accurately
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, and finalizing pleadings, discovery, correspondence, briefs, exhibits, and appendices
- Coordinate document collections, reviews, and productions, and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other case tracking tools
- Support deposition, hearing, arbitration, and trial preparation, including witness materials, exhibits, and logistics
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required
- 3+ years of paralegal experience in commercial litigation
- Significant experience supporting litigation matters in both California state and federal courts
- Strong discovery management, document production, and trial preparation experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex matters independently, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing demands
- Excellent research, drafting, organizational, project management, and communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and litigation support teams.
