Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support attorneys through all phases of commercial litigation, including discovery, motion practice, hearings, arbitration, and trial
  • Prepare, organize, and file pleadings and other documents in California state and federal courts, including through PACER/ECF and other e-filing systems
  • Manage case files, deadlines, calendars, and workflows to ensure matters progress efficiently and accurately
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and finalizing pleadings, discovery, correspondence, briefs, exhibits, and appendices
  • Coordinate document collections, reviews, and productions, and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other case tracking tools
  • Support deposition, hearing, arbitration, and trial preparation, including witness materials, exhibits, and logistics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required
  • 3+ years of paralegal experience in commercial litigation
  • Significant experience supporting litigation matters in both California state and federal courts
  • Strong discovery management, document production, and trial preparation experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex matters independently, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing demands
  • Excellent research, drafting, organizational, project management, and communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and litigation support teams.
