Job Description

Job Description

Axiado is building a new kind of intelligence layer for AI infrastructure: a distributed, silicon-rooted platform that secures, optimizes, and manages every endpoint in the AI rack, from the first clock tick to full rack scale. At the heart of it is the Axiado Trusted Control/Compute Unit (TCU), an AI-native platform that replaces reactive, software-bound management with local inference and hardware-enforced action at every node.

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead product definition and management for this effort. You will own the software, firmware, and AI/ML roadmap that turns individual TCUs into a coordinated, self-aware platform, while maintaining broad visibility across Axiado's full data center silicon and hardware module portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Products and Marketing, you will sit at the intersection of engineering, customers, and go-to-market: defining requirements, driving alignment, and shaping how an ambitious platform vision becomes shipping product.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role with clear leadership trajectory as Axiado's PM organization scales. You will work directly with our engineering team on platform architecture, with customers on integration requirements, and with product marketing on positioning and launch. You will not just manage a product line, you will help define a category.

What You'll Do

  • Own the SW/FW/AI-ML roadmap for the TCU platform, spanning platform management software (BMC/RMC), the security stack (root of trust, hardware firewall), and on-chip AI/ML inference, prioritizing across competing engineering, customer, and business needs.
  • Translate an ambitious platform vision into product: define how local, hardware-rooted inference at each node scales into fleet-level awareness and autonomous management, and turn that architecture into PRDs, acceptance criteria, and shippable capabilities.
  • Serve as the cross-functional PM voice across the full TCU platform, including silicon and hardware modules, coordinating with hardware product management to ensure SW/FW roadmap decisions are informed by and aligned with system-level hardware requirements.
  • Drive requirements from concept through release: author PRDs, define acceptance criteria, and translate customer and market needs into actionable engineering work.
  • Be the customer interface for the TCU platform, leading technical discussions with hyperscalers, OEMs, ODMs, and CSPs to understand integration requirements and surface feedback into the roadmap.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally across firmware engineering, hardware architecture, software, QA, security, and marketing to align on scope, schedule, and priorities.
  • Define and maintain feature prioritization across multiple concurrent development programs, making clear tradeoff decisions with data to back them up.
  • Engage with ecosystem and standards bodies, tracking and influencing relevant industry standards and competitive positioning in the platform management, security, and infrastructure orchestration space.
  • Support product launches and partner with product marketing on messaging, collateral, and customer-facing technical content that carries the platform narrative.
  • Grow and lead the PM function: as a principal-level owner, set the standard for product management practice and take on mentorship and, over time, direct management responsibility for other PMs.
