Avasant's benchmarking practice provides data-based market insights to technology buyers and providers as they navigate the rapidly changing digital landscape. We conduct detailed IT spend assessment, benchmarking engagements across IT (Applications, Infrastructure, and Cloud) & BPS, assess enterprise clients' software license spend, execute custom benchmarks, develop reports and studies on market trends, tailored per our client's requirements, and provide detailed assessments on their commercials and KPIs based on comparison with best-in-class / industry peers. Responsibilities:

The key roles and responsibilities for this position would include the following:

• Responsibilities for projects in the Benchmarking domain: Understand client business priorities and challenges with a view to translate into data driven metrics and analysis.
• Assess Client's business and technology operations (e.g. SLAs and other operational metrics) to compare to best-in-industry operational metrics
• Conduct data analysis, modeling and create visualizations to develop and share recommendations.
• Enhance existing data sets and platforms with new features and data.
• Develop new tools and data sets to support additional areas
• Develop a narrative around data captured to identify key market trends
• Provide benchmarking and financial analysis to Clients based on comparison to industry peers / operationally comparable organizations.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's with interest in research, strategy or consulting domains (in the industry and digital technology space)
• Significant exposure and interest in digital technologies, with an inherent curiosity to analyze how they will impact the industries
• Strong sense of ownership and adherence to quality and timelines
• Exceptional quantitative and data interpretation skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills – both written and verbal (English)
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment across multiple time zones/ geographies
