Project Leadership & Management
- Lead project teams in the preparation, review, and delivery of preliminary and final site plans, engineering designs, and construction documents.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, quality control, and client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and project analyses to support successful project execution.
Technical Expertise
- Review and evaluate survey data, existing site conditions, and development constraints, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, condominium documents, and related records.
- Prepare and oversee engineering analyses and design documentation, including:
- Hydrologic and hydraulic studies
- Due diligence and site feasibility reports
- Engineer’s opinions of probable construction costs
- Utility system calculations
- Detention and retention pond design calculations
- Stormwater management reports
- Storm sewer design reports
- Earthwork and volume calculations
- Preliminary and final grading plans
- Local, state, and regulatory permit applications
- StormCAD and WaterCAD modeling and analysis
Team Development & Construction Support
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical direction to junior engineers and designers.
- Coordinate construction-related services, including permit applications, quantity estimates, cut sheets, transmittals, and construction documentation.
- Oversee the organization and preparation of site plans, construction plans, and complete construction drawing packages.
Software & Design Tools
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to prepare designs and deliverables efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure all assignments are completed on schedule and in accordance with company standards, client requirements, and project budgets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10+ years of experience in civil engineering and land development.
- Strong knowledge of site development design, permitting, and construction documentation.
- Proven ability to manage projects, mentor staff, and maintain client relationships.
