Lead RF Hardware Design Engineer

Astrome Technologies is on the lookout for a Lead RF Hardware Design Engineer to join our Space Division. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of cutting-edge RF hardware for our satellite communication systems. You will play a key role in bringing innovative solutions to life, from initial concept through to final implementation. Your expertise will guide a talented team of engineers as you tackle complex RF design challenges and contribute to advancing our technology in the space sector.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in RF hardware design, specifically for space or satellite communications.
• Extensive knowledge of RF system architecture and design principles.
• Hands-on experience in designing, testing, and deploying RF systems in space applications.
• Strong proficiency in tools for RF simulation and analysis (e.g., ADS, HFSS).
• Experience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCAD) for high-frequency applications.
• Familiarity with RF testing equipment and methodologies, including spectrum analyzers and network analyzers.
• Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex RF design issues.
• A degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and present technical information to stakeholders.
