About the role
About Anthropic:
Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role:
Anthropic's Beneficial Deployments team brings Claude to organizations doing some of the world's most important work across the nonprofit and education sectors. Our Customer Success team helps them go from first login to Claude being part of how their teams work, but we cannot do that one organization at a time. The role exists to make intermediaries such as networks, capacity builders, funder technical assistance providers, community colleges, and fellowship programs as effective at activating and training organizations on Claude as our own Customer Success team is.
As the Scaled Enablement Lead, you'll build the Claude for Nonprofits train-the-trainer program that qualifies intermediaries to onboard organizations and deliver Anthropic-designed workshops. You'll own the kits, credentials, and quality gates that let them run workshops without an Anthropic CSM in the room, and the enablement thinking behind scaling impact through Claude Corps.
You'll be half program builder, half facilitator. You'll design and deliver the first cohorts yourself, then make the system repeatable through kits, qualification paths, credentials, teach-back gates, and a refresh rhythm that keeps content current. The role is not a partner account management, alliances, or quota role. It reports to the Customer Success Lead for Beneficial Deployments and may grow into people management. Expect periodic travel for in-person cohorts and sessions.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the Claude for Nonprofits train-the-trainer program end to end, including its tracks, qualification path, credential, and recertification
- Build the kits intermediaries teach from, including an activation playbook and workshop-in-a-box modules starting with AI fluency and use case discovery
- Recruit and qualify a pilot cohort of anchor intermediaries, then open a repeatable application process
- Design and deliver enablement for network intermediaries and help them evolve their offerings
- Build connective tissue among intermediaries, including shared office hours and a facilitator cohort
- Support the enablement thinking for Claude Corps
- Hold the quality bar through teach-back gates, graded mock sessions, shadowing, and activation quality benchmarks
- Run the program as one system, including content intake, production standards, resource hub, learning management system courses, and the agreement and attribution model for intermediaries
- Own the program's numbers, including approved trainers, activations, effort per organization activated, and quality against benchmark
- Be the field voice for intermediaries inside Anthropic
Minimum qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in enablement, training, or program management
- Train-the-trainer at scale: you have built and run a program that qualified other people to deliver your training consistently
- Learning design and delivery: you have designed adult learning experiences end to end and delivered them live
- Nonprofit ecosystem fluency: you have worked with or inside the intermediaries that reach mission-driven organizations
- Hands-on proficiency with AI tools, including Claude and/or other AI tools
Preferred qualifications:
- Comfort being the single owner of a program while depending on teams you do not manage
- Ownership of, or close partnership with, a certification or badging program
- Experience with Skilljar or another learning management system, and with partner portals or resource hubs
- Facilitation of change management or AI fluency programs for non-technical teams
- Time at a capacity-building organization, an intermediary, or an edtech or technology company serving the sector
- Experience leading work through contractors or vendors while keeping several programs coherent
Compensation:
The annual salary range for this role is $265,000 to $320,000 USD.
Logistics:
- Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
- Location-based hybrid policy: Currently, all staff are expected to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time, and some roles may require more
- Visa sponsorship is available for some roles and candidates
Benefits:
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
