About AMBOSS

AMBOSS is the copilot for medical professionals, empowering them to provide the best possible care through our learning and clinical decision support tool. Our team brings together care, innovative thinking, and cutting-edge AI medical technology. Our founders launched AMBOSS in 2012 with the goal of creating a tool they wished they had during medical school and clinical practice. Why can this position be exciting for you?

As an Associate Account Manager, you will play a key role in bringing healthcare education to students. You will support the planning, organization, and execution of events and discount opportunities for US medical students, aimed at expanding AMBOSS’s presence in the market.

You'll be the one making our demo events run smoothly, even if you're not the one on stage. Bringing engaging AMBOSS demo events to life, fostering meaningful connections with students, and managing all logistical, strategic, and organizational aspects—from outreach, event planning, to follow-up sales—end to end. You will be pivotal in helping students prepare efficiently for their exams and navigate the journey to their degree with ease.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about shaping the future of medical education, enjoys, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You will:

• Build and maintain a network of student leads to support US Roadshow activities, fostering both new and existing relationships (conducting email marketing campaigns and desk research)

• Coordinate virtual school visits and on-site demonstrations by converting student leads into event organizers

• Strategize, plan and execute events, workshops, and webinars to introduce AMBOSS to US medical students in their first couple years of studying

• Build connections with brand rep med students over email

• Utilize a data-driven and analytical approach to optimize user and revenue growth

• Collaborate closely with teams including B2B, Marketing, and Clinicians, to spearhead unified strategies to capture the US market

You bring:

• Ideally 1-2 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Customer Success, or related roles

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with storytelling

• Strong analytical skills: ability to methodically collect and interpret qualitative and quantitative data in order to make informed decisions and optimize sales strategies.

• Familiarity with software tools (e.g., HubSpot, Looker/Metabase, Asana, Google Sheets) is a plus

You enjoy:

• Working across teams, asking questions, and picking up the nuances of each project as you go

• Bringing order to the chaos, whether that's planning an event or coordinating a project

• Keeping an eye on the details while juggling multiple priorities as things change quickly

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $55,000-$60,000 USD per year, and where you land in that range depends on your experience and the impact you'll bring to the role.
