About the role
Job Summary
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of production systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in production support, monitoring, incident management, Azure cloud operations, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor production systems, dashboards, and alerts; perform incident triage and escalation.
- Troubleshoot issues using logs, metrics, and traces; perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Manage production incidents, support tickets, and on-call rotations.
- Support deployments, rollbacks, configuration changes, and release validation.
- Maintain runbooks, incident documentation, and postmortem action items.
- Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting.
- Monitor backups, certificates, patching, system health, and capacity.
- Apply SRE practices, including SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, and continuous reliability improvement.
Mandatory Skills
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Monitor, Application Insights.
- Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or Splunk.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Scripting: PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Incident Management: Incident response, alert triage, ServiceNow, or Jira Service Management.
- SRE Fundamentals: SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, system availability, and root cause analysis.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Linux/Windows administration, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with production reliability, performance optimization, and problem management.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, effective communication, a proactive approach to automation, and willingness to participate in on-call support
