About the role
CRM Lifecycle Specialist
We are seeking a CRM Lifecycle Specialist to support the execution and ongoing optimization of lifecycle journeys across email, SMS, mobile push, and other retention touchpoints. Reporting into the CRM Lifecycle Manager, you will help bring customer engagement strategies to life through hands-on campaign building, audience segmentation, rigorous quality assurance, performance reporting, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate combines strong operational discipline with analytical curiosity, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for delivering thoughtful, on-brand experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the CRM Lifecycle Manager in executing and maintaining automated customer journeys and triggered campaigns across email, SMS, and mobile push.
- Build, configure, test, schedule, and deploy campaigns and journeys within CRM and messaging platforms, ensuring accurate audience criteria, personalization, suppression logic, campaign naming, tracking parameters, and send timing.
- Conduct rigorous pre-launch QA across content, links, rendering, dynamic logic, deep links, tracking, targeting, and customer eligibility to ensure every communication is accurate, functional, and aligned with Alo's brand standards.
- Partner with Creative, Digital, Brand, and CRM stakeholders to manage briefs, asset handoffs, feedback, approvals, and launch timelines
- Monitor campaign and journey performance, maintain recurring reports, identify trends or anomalies, and translate results into clear insights and optimization recommendations
- Execute A/B and multivariate tests across creative, messaging, segmentation, offer, timing, and cadence; document results and apply learnings to future campaigns and journeys.
- Partner with Martech, Data, and QA teams to troubleshoot campaign or data issues, validate event and attribute usage, support new integrations, and maintain reliable audience and journey logic.
- Maintain project calendars, testing trackers, campaign documentation, and process guides to keep programs organized, scalable, and easy to audit.
- Support CRM best practices across deliverability, consent, channel governance, and customer experience while staying current on emerging lifecycle marketing capabilities and retail trends.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in CRM, lifecycle, retention, email, or digital marketing, preferably within a fast-growing retail, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, wellness, or DTC e-commerce brand.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying campaigns in Braze, Klaviyo, Iterable, Attentive, Bluecore, or a similar email, SMS, or marketing automation platform; Braze, Bluecore, and Attentive experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience in working in Asana or other similar project workflow systems
- Working knowledge of automated customer journeys, audience segmentation, personalization, testing, and campaign performance measurement across email, SMS, and/or mobile push.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong QA instincts, with the ability to identify issues before launch and manage high-volume campaign workflows accurately.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with Creative, Brand, Digital, Data, and Martech partners.
- Basic familiarity with HTML, Liquid, dynamic content, CDPs, analytics tools, or mobile deep linking is a plus.
- Creative, customer-focused thinker with an understanding of brand identity, customer experience, and consumer behavior.
