Role overview

We are seeking an experienced React Native Developer with 10+ years of mobile application development experience to design, develop and maintain high-quality cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android.

Key responsibilities:

1. Mobile Application Development

Design, develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
Build and enhance applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
Ensure applications are production-ready and aligned with business and technical requirements.
Work with native modules and platform-specific capabilities using Kotlin/Java and/or Swift/Objective-C.
Ensure successful application builds, releases and deployments to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

2. React Native & Native Platform Development

Develop applications using React Native, including the New Architecture with Fabric and TurboModules.
Implement state management using Redux, Zustand, MobX or similar technologies.
Work with navigation frameworks and REST/GraphQL integrations.
Collaborate with native platform technologies including Jetpack Compose/MVVM and SwiftUI/UIKit.
Design and implement reusable, scalable and maintainable components.

3. Security & Data Privacy

Implement secure storage and encryption using technologies such as Keychain, Keystore, encrypted AsyncStorage and MMKV.
Apply secure networking practices across mobile applications.
Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy and security requirements.
Identify and address mobile application security vulnerabilities.
Follow security best practices and familiarity with OWASP MSTG guidelines.

4. AI-Native Development

Use AI coding assistants such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot for code generation, refactoring, debugging and testing.
Effectively prompt AI agents for application scaffolding, integrations and development workflows.
Review and validate AI-generated code before integration.
Identify risks associated with AI-generated code, including insecure recommendations, hallucinated APIs and intellectual property concerns.
Apply mandatory human review and engineering standards to AI-assisted development.

5. Architecture & Design

Apply MVVM, Clean Architecture and common design patterns such as Factory, Adapter and Observer.
Ensure consistent architectural practices across cross-platform and native code.
Design scalable, maintainable and high-performing mobile application architectures.
Contribute to technical decisions and architectural improvements.

6. CI/CD, Release & Application Lifecycle

Work with Git and Azure DevOps for source control and development workflows.
Implement and maintain mobile CI/CD pipelines.
Work with tools such as Fastlane, App Center and Bitrise.
Manage the complete mobile application lifecycle, including build, submission, deployment, monitoring and maintenance.
Troubleshoot release and deployment issues across iOS and Android platforms.

7. Performance & Quality

Perform mobile application performance profiling and optimization.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Ensure applications meet quality, stability and usability expectations.
Collaborate with QA teams to support testing, debugging and release readiness.

8. UI/UX & Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with UI/UX designers to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
Ensure designs are translated accurately into responsive and intuitive mobile interfaces.
Collaborate effectively with product, engineering, QA and other cross-functional teams.
Communicate technical decisions, challenges and progress clearly to stakeholders.

Required technical skills and competencies:

10+ years of experience in React Native/mobile application development.
Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience developing and publishing applications on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Strong experience with React Native and its New Architecture, including Fabric and TurboModules.
Experience working with native modules using Kotlin/Java and/or Swift/Objective-C.
Strong knowledge of state management frameworks such as Redux, Zustand or MobX.
Experience with REST and GraphQL integrations.
Strong understanding of mobile application security, encryption and secure storage.
Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture and common design patterns.
Strong understanding of CI/CD for mobile applications.
Experience with mobile application performance profiling and optimization.
Strong understanding of the complete mobile application lifecycle.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Must have skills:

10+ years of React Native/mobile application development experience.
Expert-level JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
Strong React Native expertise.
Experience with iOS and Android application development.
Experience with native modules using Kotlin/Java and/or Swift/Objective-C.
