[TECH SPECIFIC] Senior Software Engineer

Embark on an exciting journey into the realm of software development with 3Pillar! As a Software Engineer, you'll play a vital role in our dynamic team, contributing to exciting projects that redefine urban living, establish new media channels for enterprise companies, or drive innovation in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft client code that is not just efficient but also performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality.
• Provide accurate status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project methods and tools.
• Gather requirements, validate their understanding amongst the team, and create and maintain relevant documentation.
• Execute activities within the current methodology and uphold the highest quality standards.
• Foster collaboration with fellow engineers, designers, and managers to comprehend user pain points and iterate on solutions that drive client success.
• Take ownership of projects, from technical design to a successful launch.

Minimum Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise with at least 5+ years of experience in one specified technology.

  • .NET (.NET Framework and .NET Core / modern .NET), ASP.NET Core Web API, relational databases and SQL, with front-end experience in Angular.
• Experience modernizing legacy .NET Framework applications, including moving business logic into APIs or services and migrating to the cloud.
• Experience in engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and Angular, including upgrading Angular applications across versions.
• Experience integrating with Microsoft Dynamics (ERP and/or payroll).
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Proficiency with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience in building frontend/backend applications at scale.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
• Proficiency in the English language.

Additional Experience Desired

• Experience with business rules engines or externalizing business rules from application code.
• Domain experience in billing, claims processing, or payroll systems, ideally in healthcare or home care.
• Experience with .NET desktop applications (WinForms/WPF) and migrating them to the cloud.
• Experience with unit testing (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).
• Knowledge of source control tools (e.g., Git).
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (inheritance, polymorphism, classes, instances, properties).
• Knowledge of protocols like HTTP, and serialization formats like JSON and XML.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of document databases.
